I created a special read only calendar. Entries made in google are not synchronised to TR.
Product Version = ThinkingRock 3.7.0
Operating System = Ubuntu LTS latest updates

Is there any reason why you made it "read only"?

See, I'm not interested in introducing information into TR via Google Calendar but I'd like to be able to merge information coming from TR with the events I have in my Google calendar. These events don't all come from TR. I introduce them directly in the Google calendar or via an application that syncs with the Google calendar (Thunderbird with the lightning extension).

For this reason, the Google calendar could not be "read only" in my ideal scenario since I want the information in Google calendar to be synchronized with all the calendars in my client computers (via Thunderbird with the lightning extension).

I need it read only but you can try other options.

Well, I have tried now with Ubuntu and I cannot get the TR calendar to sync with Gcal, either.

This time I managed to install Gcal daemon without any problem. Everything appears to be all right, but nothing appears on Gcal.

If I do sh sync-now.sh, I can see an XML file appering on the screen and at the end I see the following error message:

ERROR | Unable to load calendar!
java.lang.Exception: Invalid iCal file: http://www.google.comhttp://www.google.com/calendar/ical/josep.m.fontana%40gmail.com/private-c80ad1ae89c1d8007776ed1ee873bb42/basic.ics

at org.gcaldaemon.core.Configurator.getCalendar(Configurator.java:953)
at org.gcaldaemon.core.file.OfflineFileListener.run(OfflineFileListener.java:65)
INFO | Synchronization finished.

The .ics file that is referred to in that error message is the .ics file of my Google calendar (that I'm trying to sync with the TR .ics file).
