TOPIC: iOS 10 collect thoughts crashing on spaces

iOS 10 update recently and I'm on iPhone 2.6.

Now whenever I go to collect thoughts, if I type more than 3 characters in either the title or notes and hit the space bar, the app crashes every single time.

So to repeat:

Open TR iPhone 2.6 on iOS 1010.0.2

App auto-goes to the collect thoughts screen

Type in A, space, B, and hit the space bar again

App crashes

Backspace also can cause it to crash under less repeatable conditions.

I also have iOS 10.0.2

I have no problems to report on my side, everything works ok .

I tried your scenario and it also worked fine for me.

Maybe you need to reinstall the app on your iPhone. To do so you will need to make sure you have all your data in TR desktop (I would even do a backup to be on the safe side ...). Delete the app from your iPhone. Reinstall the app from the App Store.

Noehl, thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately this has made matters worse.

I sync'd, backed up my desktop and then uninstalled/reinstalled the app.

I went to sync, started to type in my wifi IP address of 10.0.0.8. As soon as I get to the second dot "10.0.", the app crashes and closes. This is the same behavior I was seeing before so now I can't even sync. :(

I've updated to the very latest 10.1 (this is on an iPhone 6) and the behavior is continuing. I'm now also getting a warning that TR needs to be upgraded for compatibility. I could take a video if you want to see; not sure what else I can do?

This problems continues to persist. Claire suggested disabling spell check would fix this problem and while that's an OK temporary workaround, it's not a long-term solution.

I am having the same problem after upgrading to iOS 10.1.1 (TR for iphone v. 2.6). It also crashes if I try to edit a note on an item in the Do ASAP tab. Turning off spell check does seem to solve the problem.
