Connection attempt via wifi. . using local subnet 192.168.1.4 port 5000. Moved PC to a different IP address and tried with different IP and port - no change. Phone app software was uninstalled and reinstalled - no change. PC software was uninstalled and reinstalled - no change. Java version was uninstalled and reinstalled - no change. Router was rebooted - no change. Was working two days ago with exact same configuration, only issue was the continuous report of IP or port address change after a sync. Both PC and iPhone have plenty of disk space left. Both PC and iPhone can connect through the router to the Internet. At a loss what to try next.
