TOPIC: Problems synching iPhone via dropbox

Hello Claire,

I have problems with synching my iPhone via Dropbox.

When I press the sync button on my iPhone the following happens.
- The thoughts and Updates progress bar become blue
- the syncup file appears in the dropbox folder on my pc
- the entered thoughts of my iphone appear in the TR desktop application
- the syncdown file appears in the dropbox folder on my pc and synched with
dropbox
- and then nothing else happens

Do you know this problem?

I have been tested iPhone 2.4 and I noticed that sometimes it takes times for the syncdown.txt to be read. It might help to close the TR app on iPhone completely and retry.

Can you tell us the version of the iphone plug-in that you have installed?

and out of interest, how big are the sync files that are in your dropbox folder.

Hello alltogether,

I think this issue has something to do with the wlan configuration at work. If my iPhone is using the 3G or my wlan at home, the sync process works fine.

Does the dropbox work at all at your work? The problem shouldn't be limited to ThinkingRock
