TOPIC: Feature request - usability of desktop app

Hi All!
I process a big bunch of thoughts with TR and see this could be improved.
When processing/reprocessing a thought one have to set up the following values:
Context,
Time,
Priority,
Due,
Start,
Project.

6 items in total - that takes time!

This could be improved in the following ways :
1. Due and start - make a way to set those to TODAY quickly. That helps when one processes a number of overdue actions.
2. Project - VERY often when one processes number of actions - they relate to the same project. I have a big hierarchy of projects and every time I have to drill down to one and the same project. Two options here - when one opens a select project dialog - do not close project tree but leave it as it was opened by the user before, or give a possibility to select a previously selected project without opening a project tree.

By the way - there haven't been any updated of a desktop version for a while - any plans?

I am pushing for a new version with a few improvements in the process thought screen:
1. Delete button at the top
2. Possibility to enter multiple actions for one thought which will be by default under the same project.

the idea of multiple actions for one thought is excellent. Keep up the good work.

Jeremy has started doing them. The delete is already done.

Again and again, like I've been on a meeting discussing project start with the customer and put down 10 action points all about the same project which is hidden deep down in my projects hierarchy. When processing those thoughts I do one and the same operation - select one and the same project! Ahhh....

I second (or is it third ?) the request for the caching of the selected project when processing thoughts, it would be a huge improvement.

BTW, Claire, is there any reason why you haven't posted to the Is ThinkingRock development stopped? thread?
Clearly it hasn't and it would be really good to hear from you.
