How do I describe an action where I'm waiting for someone to do something, e.g. waiting for someone to return a phone call?

I think a status of 'waiting' would work, but that's not an option (as far as I can find).

Thanks for the help.

Hi, Jim

I set up an @waiting context and filtered for it. It works well for me, as does defining a task's status as delegated.

Hope that helps,

Kathie

OK, thanks. I was thinking along those lines, but was looking for other options.

I use the Delegated status for that purpose.

All great ideas!

For me, I leave the context alone as the action itself never shifts from one context to another.

When I am waiting for something, I change the status to Delegated and provide a follow-up date. I also make sure to keep detailed notes (when needed) in each action so I can quickly review them when they pop up on my radar.
