TOPIC: total project duration

it would be cool if there was a non-editable variable assigned to each project, that simply represented the total duration of all (completed) actions within that project.

it would be useful for producing time sheets on completion of projects. (the app ToDoList has this functionality)

I don't have a need for this functionality.

But I also do not have the discipline to go back into every completed task and insure that the hours I put down for the estimate actually matched the hours that I worked on a project.

i don't really have that discipline either, except that in my case, there is some motivation provided by the fact that the hours worked is directly proportional to the payment received

and it probably never happens in my world that actual time < predicted time :)

this functionality would simply save me the effort of mechanically adding up the numbers or of exporting to a spreadsheet. but probably i should learn to enjoy the light relief provided by a simple task of adding :)
