Hi all,

For those that don't have an iPhone/iPod Touch, how do you all handle your mobile lists, i.e. errands, agendas, etc?

For instance, my wife and I are on the way home and she decides she needs to stop off at the mall to look for something. While we're there, I have this itching suspicion that I'm supposed to do something while I'm at the mall. Alas, I don't have my trusted system in front of me and I have the memory of a goldfish.

We get home and I pull up TR; "Errands: Pick up tux for John's wedding". Epic "DOH!"

So how do you all handle situations like this? Do you print out your non-computer based lists and carry them around?

Thanks!
Mike

My wife started using Remember the Milk (rememberthemilk.com). I think the interface is terrible. We both have BlackBerry phones, and there is a web interface but it is so cumbersome that I never want to use it. It does beat going home without having missed out on your errand, though.

I prefer using Google Docs; we already use it a lot for different things anyway, and you can just have a document for each list, then just publish the document and bookmark the link. You can't edit it on the fly, but once you get back to your computer it's easy.

If you have an iPhone there is the TR App.

Unfortunately I don't have an iPhone. I do, however, have an Android phone; so I'm hoping an Android app comes out soon.

this is one serious issue. The GTD model only works if you can have data with you when you need it by context. I was hoping that BB would be included or a portal to get the data into outlook so I can use the functionality therein.

Personally, I use the Pocketmod report. I've set it up with:

page 1: New Thoughts
page 2: Overdue items
page 3: Items today
page 4: Items this week
page 5: ASAP items by context (1)
page 6: ASAP items by context (2)
page 7: ASAP items by context (3)
page 8: blank

I then have my items to do by context in my pocket all the time, it goes in my wallet. I can also capture thoughts on the first page.
