Thank you for the suggestion, but I *do* want to track them - I want to know what is 'active'.
The pushups is just an example. Could be a goal except my goals as I've set them up are a little 'more important' than this. I don't really care if I make it to 100, I just want to try.
So I'd still really really like an "active"state for long-term projects that will last for an unknown long(ish) amount of time.
Come to think of it, if there is an "inactive" why isn't there an 'active' already (with a progress percentage indication - could be drop down or progress bar or something ?)
(If Java is like CSS/PHP it should be a matter of just adding one line of code so "active" is an option in the the drop down list for "Status" ??)
Just out of curiosity - you would add something like working on a large painting to your ASAP list so you can see it every single day for at least 6 months, even when you can not work on it?
It's not inactive, it's not delegated, and it's not scheduled to start because it has already started..
Especially when I'm working on more than 1 painting I kinda need the overview 'active' list, I can't always remember for how long a painting has been drying.. or sometimes can't remember where I stored it until I can start again (lack of storage space makes you creative, so I have to climb on chairs etc to hunt the thing down..:))
For the online courses example - it's not uncommon for me to follow/ watch multiple online courses at random, it would be nice to keep track of those so I can quickly see where I'm at for each course, and which once I've started on. But this is purely 'hobby' and 'fun to know', definitely not a goal or a project that has to be finished, nor an action that has to be done ASAP or something that I want to schedule.
So an overview of all "active" would be great.
That way I could see with 1 mouse click what is 'active', instead of having to scroll through a list of ASAP actions/goals where those items shouldn't really be in the first place.
I've got things set up so I can filter on Topic ("sports" or "learn" ) if I wanted to get more specific in the "active status" list.
