TOPIC: Audit Trail / Change History

I’d like to make a suggestion that would help me when using TR and maybe other people too. I use the “delegated to” function heavily. It helps me track other people who have committed to deliver work to me.

Often I have to move the due date out or I have to change the description. Or change who I have delegated the activity to.

It would be great if TR had a log of changes that I have made to each activity. This would allow me to see what changes had been made to each task over a period of time.

I understand this may not be pure GTD. However, I think this type of feature adds to the usability of the product.

I agree it will be useful and it is on our list but complex (data structure, new views, could increase data size rapidly).

As a workaround, you can enter the log manually in your notes. There are 2 buttons to insert the current date and time at the cursor position in the notes and then you can add a comment.
