Good day to all.
Forgot to mention one important feature request: please add the ability to select multiple items in filters - very simple feature but without it - extremely inconvenient.

I believe that selecting multiple items in the filters would greatly improve the app from my point of view.

It has been a while since the last update and there's no info on the next update coming and what functionality it will have.
Last 6 moth or so I've been using TR mobile apps and other iOS apps and can tell that TR needs some REAL improvements in usability. Some minor details that a REALLY easy to fix but for some reason not being addressed like:
1) not able to add thoughts one by one if changing a topic - screen gets blank (I worte on this)
2) when entering thoughts in landscape mode the text input does not get extended till the end of the screen
3) Why use IP-address for sync with computer and not host-name???

Regards,
Sergei.

I have pressed the 'Release' button. The Iphone update version 2.2 is now available.

You will need to update your TR iPhone sync module - v3.0.5.22 for v3.1.2

New functionality is:
Allows sync using Dropbox.
Improve screens layout for iPad.
Bug fix when collecting multiple thoughts.
Bug fix for / and | characters in Notes.

Instructions for Dropbox:

1. Run the TR desktop application and set-up the Iphone sync method (under Options/Preferences - Miscellaneous screen) to be Dropbox and browse to the top Dropbox folder.
2. On iPhone, on the sync screen, choose Dropbox. Enter your Dropbox account details and press the Link or Done button.
3. On iPhone sync screen, press the Sync Data button. This will start the sync. Updates and new Thoughts are sent to the desktop application.
4. No need to press anything on the desktop application. The desktop application is checking for that first sync file automatically. It will apply the changes to your data file, then actions, topics and contexts are sent back to the iPhone.
5. The iPhone application loads the new data and the sync is completed.

Please note that there is no additional encryption of data through Dropbox. Dropbox uses SSL encryption during transmission of data.

I will prepare a demo soon.

Thanks for the update!

After the update to TR desktop and the iPhone app, I followed the directions as written and pressed Sync with Dropbox. Two files were created in Dropbox, but the iPhone is locked on "Syncing".

Known issue? Did I do something wrong?

Ah-Ha! Fixed it!

Go to your Dropbox settings and make sure you select DO NOT limit upload and download rate from the Bandwidth tab.

Save and try to resycn.

Instantly worked after that.
