I think that I've seen this suggestion in the forum, but I've searched for it and I didn't find it, so if it's duplicated please delete it.

In the Actions view, if you choose to order the actions depending on the Action date, the current order is this (1):
- Overdue
- Due
- Due in the future
- (empty)
And, again, in the first 3 categories, the order is this (2):
- Fixed date, empty time ("Scheduled" or "Do ASAP" with due date)
- Fixed date, fixed time ("Scheduled" actions only)

I think that the order (1) is perfectly fine, but the order (2) is useless and even inconsistent with (1).

Usually, when you set a due date to an action, it's because you need it done that day at any time. In other words, you need it by the end of the day or earlier. When you set a fixed hour it's because it means that the action is done at that time, no matter what.

I thing that the obvious sorting is "first comes first". If there isn't a fixed time, the system should assume that it implies "due time at midnight", so they should be AFTER the actions with a fixed time.

So, I suggest to change the order (2) to:
- Fixed date, fixed time ("Scheduled" actions only)
- Fixed date, empty time ("Scheduled" or "Do ASAP" with due date)

And the result will be a change from this:
27 Oct 2013
28 Oct 2013
28 Oct 2013, 10:00
(empty)
To this:
27 Oct 2013
28 Oct 2013, 10:00
28 Oct 2013
(empty)

Please let me know if you don't understand my explanation, and thank you for reading my long post until the end :)
