 Praise from recent members:
* It is just so intuitive to use and makes GTD implementation so straightforward.
* Fantastic sofware
* After browsers and email, I think Thinking Rock is probably the most useful piece of software I've ever used and it literally underpins the day-to-day management of my business. With the advent of Goals, it's taken on a whole new dimension as it now allows projects to be viewed contextually in a very immediate and accessible way.

* I bought your software a couple of hours ago, and frankly... well... I wanted to originally write you a long and verbose email about my thoughts on this software. But it's 2:40AM, and I have to force myself to bed, because your software is simply of a rare quality: both flexible and intuitively easy to use. I can't believe I actually considered not buying this because of the $ price tag... silly me. Simply the best $ I spent this month on anything by a LONG shot, and probably the best spent this year.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. As exciting as the GTD method is, as fundamental as its impact was on my life in the last 2 months, I was growing increasingly frustrated with my lack of success at finding a set of tools that would integrate nicely with each other, taking care of all GTD aspects from beginning to end. Well, you pulled it off with flying colors. Other user feedback.

Get organised with ThinkingRock on Windows, Linux, Mac - iPhone, Android companions available

Use ThinkingRock to establish GTD effectively in your life. ThinkingRock is one of the rare GTD implementation on multi-platform without having your data on the web: use it at home and at work, written in Java thus run on Linux, Macintosh, or Windows (see platform requirements). The data file is separate so you just need to transfer the small data file between computers.

Thinking Rock is NOT another to-do list. Its process flow allows you to:

  • collect your thoughts, also called dump your mind;
  • process them into actions, projects, sub-projects, reference items, someday/maybe items or goals;
  • actions can be done by you, delegated to someone else or scheduled for a particular date;
  • projects can be planned into ordered list of actions and sub-projects;
  • review your actions through custom views: by context, Today view, This Week view, Overdue view, etc...;
  • get motivated by reviewing your 6-Level model and link projects to your goals;
  • take the information with you on your iPhone, Android, paper (pocketmod, Jasper or PDF reports).

Thinking Rock stands out from competitors:

  • Project Structure: unlike many task management applications, ThinkingRock lets you group your actions in projects and sub-projects. Two views are available to display your tasks: a project tree or a list of actions. Even auto-sequencing!
  • to review your actions, you can create your own tabs and set-up the filtering;
  • Stop procrastination: it gets you moving on your thoughts by encouraging you to think of the next physical action to do and by having Due Date and Start Date;
  • Documentation and support available: user manual, full screen help provided, documentation on this website, free customer support through our forum or email (use contact page).
  • it is a high quality software.

If you don't have time to download and use this software then you really need it.

* GTD stands for Gettings Things Done - the stress-free productivity methodology described in the international best selling book by David Allen.

* Please note that the book is entitled "How to Get Things Done" in Australia.
