I really like the way we can create multiple actions from a single thought (using the green plus button "add action" on the process thoughts screen).
However, the notes go away after the first action is added.
This suggestion is to preserve the notes after adding an action using the plus button.

Use case:
Typically I have things captured in the notes screen that I need to create actions from.
For example, right now the thought I'm processing is "Follow up on project X meeting minutes"
And the notes section are the minutes from the meeting.
It includes 6 different things - set up various meetings, etc.
I need to create actions for those.
Since the notes section goes away, I need to copy/paste the notes into notepad so I can refer to them.

More:
I realize that if this suggestion is implemented, the notes field on the added actions will have extra content that doesn't apply to that particular action, but that's OK.

Thanks!

We will need to add an option somewhere because some users would not want the notes to be kept.

I think MOST people who use that functionality (several actions from the same though) would actually WANT the notes kept. It is logical that a thought that needs this type of treatment is typically captured as a short description e.g "process meeting notes" with lots of details in the notes section. So retaining those those notes when the green button is used is the effective action.

Of course, one could also argue that rather than fix that in software, you could just change your process so that the meeting notes are captures as individual thoughts.

Done. At the moment, change module is under the beta center so you will need to do the following:
- start ThinkingRock desktop version
- in the main menu, go: Tools > Plugins, then select the Settings tab
- check the "ThinkingRock 3.4 Beta Update Centre" item in the list
- then select the Updates tab
- click the "Reload Catalog" button
- select the module you want (TR Process View) and click the Install button
- follow prompts to install and restart TR

Note: if the "ThinkingRock 3.4 Beta Update Centre" is not in the list, add a new update centre item with the URL: www.trgtd.com.au/tr/updates/3.4/beta/updates.xml
