Can it be possible to 'batch process' actions?
In particular, I would like to be able to reset a bunch of actions' 'due date' by ctrl-click selecting in an action screen and changing all of their due dates at once - but if selecting multiple actions in an action screen led to a dialogue popping up with as many options as possible to change at once, I could see that being really useful.
Perhaps I want this just because I'm particularly slack at self management... but: I invariably have more tasks due today than I manage to complete. They end up as ASAP due today tasks because I want them to pop up in my default action screen, so it includes things I want to remember might be on the agenda but don't yet need to chase: things need doing asap so will get to if I have time; as well as the things that really have hard deadlines for today. Few work days pass without me needing to reset due dates on a good number of actions, which is depressing enough without having to do 4 separate clicks for each action...

On the Review Actions screen, you can use the functions under the tab labels, left of the filter buttons. From left to right, you can Reprocess, Postpone Actions Date (my favourite as I have the same problem as you), Change Context, Change topic, Change Criteria, Change Status, Change Project, Set to Done (I wish I can select all actions on my today tab - ctrl+A by the way, and press that button more often), then Delete on more than one action in a few clicks.

So for my daily review, I go to my Overdue Tab, select all actions left and postpone them by a few days...

To select actions, you can also use the shift if they are consecutive or the ctrl key if you want to be picky.

I use these buttons a lot.

Hi Claire
Thanks so much for your speedy and helpful response - no surprise to me that its already there I just hadn't found it.... Thought I'd explored pretty thoroughly, but still more depths to the programme for me to discover, clearly
And good to know I'm not the only serial postponer1
