Just recently picked up TR to replace my OmniFocus and Outlook mashup. Being a user that lives on several different platforms during a normal day I have been looking for a real cross platform solution to support me.

Finding that TR is doing a good job providing me a platform for capture and processing, where I'm missing a bit is on the Reference part. This is where Evernote kicks in - I'm not looking for a pure Evernote integration - but merely a acceptance of the editor in TR to accept the ever not:// linking style names. Best would be if there were a plugin for Evernote :-)

So to keep things short - I'm currently having most of my cross platform filing managed in a mashup of several different solutions. Pretty much would like to move all references into Evernote and then have the TR Reference part pointing to into Evernote when needed.

Very nice idea. I use the same combination of TR and Evernote.
Besides the link of References to Evernote, it would also be handy to have the option to send (or link) action comments to Evernote (sometimes i add many comments to an action that i want to archive). Currently i copy/paste them over.

Agreed. I use a combination of TR, Evernote and MS Outlook.

It would also be great to have an Evernote style "Add to TR" button in outlook.

You can easily get TR tasks to appear as Evernote notes (though not with extensive notes) by making the task 'delegated' and creating your evernote email input address as a delegate, and hitting email.
Agree that being able to link from TR tasks to evernote content would be good.

well I was about to start a thread about this.

All the ideas are awesome, using the delegate function is nice and I'll give it a try.

TR rocks!

PD:

This would be great to have too:

support for evernote:/// links.
