Dear ThinkingRock Team,

I've been using your software since about 2008.
You've build an impressive and comprehensive implementation of a GTD Trusted System.
Cheers to that!

One rather weak part of TR, imho, is the current implementation of the referece system.
TR has made a big step in the right direction by giving users the possibility of linking to reference items within the Task/Project Notes fields.
Still, I do believe that TR can do better than just providing a flat list of items per role.

I realize that the reference system is a very hollistic concept in itself and thus the requirements placed on a reference system will vary strongly from person to person.
Implementing the reference system as a mindmap could prove to be a rather elegant solution for fullfilling such a wide varity of needs.

Where I come from:
I use TR for life, projects and task planning.
I use one huge Freemind mindmap as a reference system for all roles and projects.

What I have in mind:
Freemind integration with possibility of linking to freemind nodes from within the Task/Project Notes fields.
There could be a root node for each user role.
The "Process Thought to Reference item" mask could be enhanced. (Insert Tought as freemind sub node)
TR would need to keep track of nodes which are moved around in order to update all links pointing to the moved nodes.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on there reference system in general and the mindmap idea in particular.

kind regards,
Stephan
