Hey,

for ASAP actions the help states the Action Date is the 'Due Date'. Wouldn't it make sense it is the 'Start Date', if set? I use the start date for actions that take more than one day to accomplish, too. But this way I always have to take a look at actions for next week since if I only check the Today tab I won't have enough time to complete the action, since I need more than one day and I only get reminded this day.

So I would prefer if on the 'Today' tab I would be able to see all the things I need to do today.

I fully agree with Torstens post. Work for an ASAP action needs to be done as soon as the start day begins. On the due day it may already be too late to be notified. This is at least true for actions that are spread out over several days.

BTW, to use the due date is also inconsistent with the current sorting scheme of dates. Overdue dates are listed first, then items with no given date, and then the items with a given date in the future. This only makes sense when using the start date as action date. Then, items with action dates in the future do not require immediate action and are therefore likely less important than items with no given action date.

This is complicated stuff, I hope other readers understand what I am trying to say ???

I totally agree and would still vote for this to be implemented. And +1 for the sorting scheme.
