I've installed Thinking Rock successfully in Linux Mint 9 but when trying to launch the application by clicking on the desktop icon nothing happens.

The command shown under properties in the icon launcher is /bin/sh "/home/mint/tr/bin/tr"

Any help would be appreciated.

Having found the post by arkadinsz.soiczewski on the
"Re:TR no longer loading on Ubunutu - asks for jdkhome" thread I've been able to launch Thinking Rock 3.1.2 from a terminal using the following CLI :

sh /home/mint/tr/bin/tr --jdkhome /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun

Unfortunately I can't get any response using the same command within a launcher.

Launcher now working fine following reboot.

bronofski,

I don't know how terminal sequence for TR should looks in Mint, but imho this is this same kind of a problem.

Try to look for help on Mint community by describing Your problem with launching java app after java upgrade.
Probably java just have different location in Mint, so part of sequenca can looks different too :)

Good luck!
