As a heavy user of keyboard-shortcuts I use very often Ctrl-Alt-D (insert date into notes-field). Why gives ThinkingRock always an extra character? For example: wo 11 aug 2010ð. The same thing with the time (Ctrl-Alt-T): 20:42:52þ

The problem does not occur when I use the mouse-buttons. But that's not effective... I hope I'm not the only one with this nagging thing.

More information of my configuration:
- Windows 7
- ThinkingRock 3.1.2
- Sun Java build 1.6.0 update 20

Regards,
André

Hi,

I use this shortcut for a while now and it seems the extra space came with 3.X versions, not sure wich one.
It's convenient when you add the time after. No more need to add the space character.

Any input from the dev. Bug or feature ?

Tim

Thanks for your answers. For more information about my problem, it's not a space which is added after the date or time (the space is added when you push the date and time buttons with te mouse). If you use the keyboard-shortcuts, there is a strange character added (see my first post).

I forgot to tell: Now I have Windows 7, but I have the problem also under Windows Vista and XP... :-(

Any special set-up in terms of language or keyboard?

No, I have no special keyboard setup (United States, International). And to make the problem bigger: I have my ThinkingRock on a USB-stick, because for my private/work I have different computers. At home Windows 7, At work Windows XP. My problem above exists on every computer I use. If there just would be a clue...
