Hi all: I've just bought your ap and am enjoying learning all that it can do. This is a great ap, and I really like the intuitive way it functions.

I have run into a glitch I can't seem to solve, though. I saw that there is an ability to change the Action Screen views in the options tab, which I did - giving them names that work better for me. I also added an additional catagory. Unfortunately when I go to the action review screen, now the tabs are not correlated to the new names or order I put in, and the number of items listed is the same in each tab. I reinstalled the ap and tried again with three test actions. One is scheduled, one is inactive and one is a regular Do ASAP. But all three tabs show all three actions.

Can you please help me to figure this out... hopefully without having to reinstall everything fresh again.

Thanks so much!

Kathie

Once you have created the Tab, you need to define their columns, filters and orders to correspond to the names you have given.

Please see the following documentation for more information:

Hi, Claire:

I am looking at the information you directed me to, but the changes I make to the columns do not affect the problem with displaying actions.

I am running Windows 7. When I make new catagories under the options tab, the changes I make to the columns in the review section do not affect which items are displayed in which tab. Every action I create shows up in every tab.

I believe it should work that each action only shows up as "scheduled" "delegated" "today" or "inactive" if it belongs there.

What am I missing? Can you please assist me further?

Thanks,

Kathie

Did you add filters? See the following demo http://www.trgtd.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=128:rasetupdemo&catid=51:getting-started-demos&Itemid=84.

If you still have problems, could you send me your ReviewActions.xml file which is stored under the same folder as your data file. Use the contact us email address. This will not contain any of your data, just the set-up of your Review Actions tabs.

Hi Claire

I've been working with the filters and review actions tabs, and I'm not having success in synchronizing them.

I make new action review catagories
I fill out the filter choices for one or two of the catagories, then make a text action to process.
I test a context and a topic with catagories I've set up on the review actions tabs.
The tabs show the action belonging in some catagories that it does not, and not listed in some of the catagories I selected.

I don't know if it's something wrong with my file or if I just don't intuitively understand how the filters work. Is there a demo or further reading on the individual filters? I will also email you my file, as you requested.

Thanks for your continued help.
