Claire,

I took a look at the demo and love what I am seeing.

One piece of functionality that appears to be missing is the ability to attached actions and projects to goals. This would be especially useful as it would allow me to quickly see what I am actively doing to achieve those goals. Without this functionality, I would argue there is a clear disconnect.

Is such functionality going to be released in the next update to 6-Level Model?

Much thanks and keep up the great work!

Yes it is. It is part of what we have called Goals Phase 2. We wanted to release Phase 1 faster so that users can start entering their goals. Phase 2 will also include a report.

Jeremy has started working on Phase 2 for the last few days.

This will be very nice once phase 2 is introduced, as it will reduce (for me anyway) the proliferation of Topics. I've been basically using Topics to express goals all of this time, and while it works, it isn't satisfactory because everything can only have one topic. It isn't possible to step back from CompanyX/ProjectY. You can only view ProjectY and there is no relationship to CompanyX---no way to see all of the sub-projects for CompanyX together and evaluate how much work for them your next year will look like, or whatever. It sounds like Goals will be able to replace the ProjectY part of that equation, so that I can keep Topics very general (CompanyX).

The interface for Ph1 is looking good!

One small thing that could be tweaked is that for me, when I first loaded the Goals Review page the top-level "Goals" item was not selected. That state makes it impossible to add new goals, and for a while I thought that page was essentially broken and all we could play with were levels. Once I clicked "Goals" the "Plus" icon lit up and I could proceed.
