Hi Claire,

I would like to request the same. Please also change the iPad sync method. It is very elaborate.... Putting and getting a file in Dropbox could be sufficient, why leave TR running....

I suggest TR team add the "Process Thought" functionality to next iPhone APP version.

Since i saw many people who's just using TR in China complained about this point , also the reason they turned to use Evernote instead.
And, as a user of TR, I really need this functionality badly, i need to ues TR with my mobile devices when i'm not in my office.

Since I'm running a big firm, i just make a update on TR,get used to use V3.5,and i found i can't work without it now.

Maybe TR team think the "Process Thoughts" needs to add an file link or some reference, but I think this is not necessary.

I always"Collection" & "Process Thoughts" when I'm on the way to somewhere , with pen & paper now.

I have some thoughts as to functionality and I think that this is as good a place as any to post them.

A proper time management app should make it easy for the user to quickly check what they want to find, which means it needs to have quickly accessible filters and a way to keep lists of items streamlined/uncluttered. At the moment, the iOS app doesn't do either of these well. Firstly, quick access: right now, I have to change the filters manually by tapping the magnifying glass and then going through a Byzantine series of criteria to get the right match. I would MUCH prefer to have a "favorites contexts" sections where I can pre-set filtering criteria because I tend to use the same criteria repeatedly. Being as TR can't do this, I end up using iOS's Reminders for this kind of "on the go" task management, which creates a disconnect between the systems.

The second problem as mentioned above: clutter. What I've found is that as I check things off the list, they don't disappear and I won't disappear until I sync and re-sync it with my computer. A simple "hide completed items" button would be nice (just as a note, as writing this I discovered I can use sort to put completed items at the end of the list, which solves my problem but demonstrates just how unintuitive the interface is). Again, iOS's Reminders comes to mind as a good way of doing it.

Overall, the assumption made by TR is that you will be spending most of your time at a computer so the iOS app is just an extension of it. Speaking for myself, I rarely have time to be in front of the computer to thoroughly work on TR, so tethering the app to a computer based program doesn't suit me. I would like to easily add, modify, view (via filters), and check completed tasks on the go. A more iOS native feel (like sliding gestures) would be nice, but not a deal breaker.

My main reason for getting TR is that it is platform independent; I have a Mac and PC and TR was the best bet in having them work together. Now all I need is a more agile app and I'm set!

Cheers,
Andre

PS: It would be REALLY nice is TR integrated with iOS's Reminders so that I could add something to a particular Reminders list and it would be pushed/pulled into the TR app. This would open the door for me to add tasks via Siri, which would be AMAZING!!!
