Installation of the pre-packaged version

Karmic (9.10) or Lucid (10.04)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:crazyscot/tr && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install thinkingrock

(Caveat: I think the packaging works, and there doesn't seem to be anything glaring wrong, but please do report a bug - ideally via Launchpad - if anything is wrong with it.)

In order to use the iPhone, you need to install the iPhone sync plug-in. This plug-in is included in version 3.0.3 and is available for free for version 2.2.1.

When you want to synchronise, you then go in TR desktop application, File menu, Sync with desktop option. The desktop application sync needs to be started (Continue button) before pressing the Sync button on the iPhone app.
