The action date is a calculated field. Its purpose is to allow filtering on one field when you want to get the list of actions due, scheduled or to follow-up today, next week or overdue.
It is calculated as follow:
- Do ASAP action: Start Date if before or equal to today, otherwise Due Date
- Inactive action: the earliest date between Start Date and Due Date
- Scheduled action: Scheduled Date
- Delegated action: the earliest date between Follow-Up Date and Due Date
