I Love the new splash screen at start up ... just been closing and starting again just to see it. Very quick and professional looking!

Jeremy (who spent a lot of hours on it) is very happy when I read this to him. Nice post.

I'm glad to be able to spread a little joy to the TR team.

Actually, to echo comments in other posts, this version does seem much faster to load on my PC. A pity really cos I'd like to stare at the new splash screen a little longer :-)

I suppose the novelty will wear off!

I also liked that on Windows the task bar button now says "Starting Thinking Rock" instead of "Starting Netbeans" while the splash screen is displayed. Great work with the whole release!

It gives more professional feeling about the software both slaph screen and windows task bar mesg. View > Full screen idea is also useful.

Oh, wow, yes great! Don't suppose there's a way to make full screen the default on startup? (We users always want *more* eh?)

Ignore that request ... I see that in FS mode there is no taskbar or minimise button on TR.

None the less this is fine, most apps that have a FS mode would expect you to 'escape' from it before continuing anyway, I think ...
