Following the thread at http://www.thinkingrock.com.au/forum/vi ... ut+project, I cut a sub-project from the Projects tab and pasted it into the Future tab. It appeard in the Future tab as expected. But it's still in the Projects tab, but clicking on it doesn't do anything on the right pane, and only "Expand All," "Collapse All," "Show/hide Done," and "Add project" are available in the context menu. The project tree looked like:
Projects/WDC/Implement Office/, with one action under Implement Office. I cut the Implement Office project. After exiting TR and getting back in, everything was as expected - the project was only in the future tab.

Windows XP SP2, Java version 1.6.0_03, ThinkingRock 2.0 RC2.

I am using RC3 but I cannot reproduce your problem. Are you able to reproduce it and describe the detailed steps?

I got it to happen twice, but now I cannot reproduce it using my data file (which was upgraded from 1.x) or using a new file. The steps were as I described below, cut a project and paste into the future. If I get time I'll try and repro it again.

May be it was something to with the upgrade and the problem has resolved itself. But it is always worrying and frustrating when bugs are not reproduceable, so I am glad you are sticking with it for a while, before it gets me

Have you tried taking the original cut item back to where it started from. There may be something in it that is causing the issue such as the number of actions.
