The Actions by Date report has a problem when I'm using my data. The scheduled actions are not listed, or to be more precise only two out of about 15 scheduled actions are listed. I cannot determine if this is a problem with my data file or with the Release Candidate. Can someone test and advise, please?

We have not changed the reports (yet). It will be done after 2.0 final is released.

Could you double-check the Up To parameter?

I have set it up to four weeks, and the date shown on the pdf heading is correct.

I may have to reinstall version 2.0 Epsilon to see if there is a problem with my data files. Otherwise I'll wait for the revised reports, hoping that the problem will be fixed then.

EDIT:

After installing 2.0 Epsilon and trying to open my data file the following message comes up:

Code:
tr.model.action.PeriodMonth : tr.model.action.PeriodMonth
Debugging information
message: tr.model.action.PeriodMonth : tr.model.action.PeriodMonth
line number: 126
path: /data/thoughts/items/thought/action/parent/children/action/[30]state/recurrrence/period
cause-message: tr.model.action.PeriodMonth : tr.model.action.PeriodMonth
class: tr.model.Data
cause-exception: com.thoughtworks.xstream.mapper.CannotResolveClassException
required-type: tr.model.action.Recurrence

I'm then asked if I want to restore from a backup file.

after using a data file with RC2.0 this is saved in the new format which 2.0epsilon can't load, I think there is no other way than to dig out a backup file

I'm at a loss here. I started a new data file. I added a few entries including several with a scheduled date. The report Actions by date does not show the actions that are scheduled.

This is what I did in the last few days:
a) Reinstalled Windows. However, the above problem existed before the Windows reinstallation.
b) Installed (and reinstalled) Java (after the Windows reinstallation).
c) Ran the application from a USB stick.

None of the above actions has cured the problem or provided an answer. :? :? :?

For what it's worth I uploaded a small test data file to Rapidshare if anyone would test it. It only has two scheduled actions: One past and one future (April 30, 2008). When I generate an Actions by date report neither action appears in it.

I have the same problem. None of my schedule actions are listed. Very confusing as I know we did not change the reports. Will get Jeremy to look at it. Thanks for finding it.

Problems in all reports.

Thank you for the response. It was driving me crazy, because I thought there may be something wrong with the PC. :D
