Hello,

I've heard yesterday of this software.
Seems to be very useful.
The font size was a bit small (I'm using the windows version)

I changed the default options in the .conf file to
default_options="-J-Dapple.awt.graphics.UseQuartz=true --fontsize 13 -J-Xms24m -J-Xmx64m -J-Dnetbeans.logger.console=true -J-ea"

Now it is much better.

However the font size in the collect thoughts (description and topic tags) is still too small.
I doesn't change together with the above font size.

It is really disturbing me so I hope there is a solution.

Another thing: the icons in the toolbars "File" and "ThinkingRock" are too small as well. The icons in "Edit" are Ok.

Tnx,
Remon

ps: what is the difference between the epsilon version (my version) and the TR 2 rc 2?

Epsilon is the stable version. We are trying to finalise version 2.0 so we released candidate version (RC for Release Candidate) so that extra testing is done. The RC versions should not be used except for testing.

May I add a comment about the font size being too small? I have a Windows XP SP2 system with a 17-inch CRT display at 1024 x 768 resolution (contrast at max.).

I've taken Sapphie's suggestion (posted 9.4.2008 elsewhere) of adding a command line switch th the Windows shortcut, i.e., "-fontsize 14". This improves matters but is still too fuzzy for my ageing eyes. If I drop the resolution down to 800 x 600, then it's perfect for me, but unworkable as it means re-setting the display every time I swap in and out of the program.

Question: Is there a switch which could be added to the one above to make the font bold? This could possibly solve the problem.

Thinks: I wonder wheteher program developers (and website designers) work on big display screens so that these problems do not occur?

Having just stumbled on this program, I can't wait to get started. Congratulations on what looks like a very deeply-thought-out piece of work.

yours
Brian
