I install tr-2.0.epsilon on my gentoo linux.
I got the error below:
Warning - could not install some modules:
Core - Windows - The module named org.netbeans.swing.tabcontrol was needed and not found.
I choose "disable and continue" ,the program seemed installed. But I can run it and got a blank window.

Not sure why. Have you ever had NetBeans installed on that system?

Its not a good idea to disable core modules. Maybe try to enable it again under Tools, Module Manager in TR.

Maybe remove the .thinkingrock and .netbeans* (if any exist and you are not using NB) from your home dir (to reset).

I will set up a VM for Gentoo sometime soon - sooner if you can't get it to work.

I have tried ur methods. But still can not install it .
My machine is amd64 and run at gentoo 64-bit mode.
The program on my another machine which run gentoo (x86) is normal.
The java's version is sun-sdk-1.6.
