This post is basically a bug report and workaround.
I recently tried to install the TR 2.0 Delta on a Windows XP laptop that did not have any previous installations of TR. The installation went fine, but when I tried to start up TR, it complained that I needed to set the user directory and recommended that I do this with the "--userdir" option.
After trying to set this option via the Run command (e.g., thinkingrock.exe --userdir c:\tr-data\ ) and failing to find any documentation on the --userdir option, I tried the next obvious (but annoying) fix: install TR 1.2.3 first, run it, then install TR 2.0 Delta. This worked, but it was annoying.
Please add this test case to your test suite for the final release version of TR.
BTW: I love the product. It's saving my life at work. Keep it up.
\\Joe
