Release 2.0. Gamma (as fairly stable) for Mac only can be found at www.thinkingrock.com.au/gamma20.php

Cannot repeat it enough: MAKE A BACKUP first

Apologies for non-Mac users. We will try to get the Windows and Linux versions out this week.

Great job Claire and Jeremy. I can't wait to get home from work and try it out on my Mac.

Installed. I've just attached my first file to a next action...it was a triumphant moment.

Thank you Claire and Jeremy, I'm headed straight to the donations page!

Well, after using version 2 for a little bit, there is definitely a different. The interface is much cleaner. The usage also changes a bit. For example, in the old Review view, projects would automatically show up in the bottom of the window. Now, the user must click on a single action in order for the projects to show up.

All in all, here is my quick (and probably too early impressions):
- much better looking interface
- more options
- more clicking needed
- more control over sorting and views
- more right/control clicking needed to accomplish some things that were a separate button

It looks like Jeremy has responded to what people have asked for. I just hope that the extra options don't get in the way of "Getting Things Done"

(If I can find some extra time, I'll post some screen shots. However, I have a large project due on Friday and probably won't be able to get around to it anytime soon). :(

Just to explain why there are more clicking (you can use the Enter key too): we had memory problem when displaying the panels all the time, the navigation in the tree with keys was not working and you should find it faster.

In the tree, I think we need to improve the action description by appending some dates (especially for recurrent action). Waiting for your suggestions.

For the right-click menu, there are shortcut keys for all options, with some options toggling like Expand/Collapse, Show Done/Hide Done.

While testing I found myself more and more in the Review Projects tree instead of the Review Actions. But maybe it was because, due to testing, I had a lot of data.

For those longing for screenshots, I have written a quick review (with lots of screenshots) based on my first couple of hours with TR2.0. You can find it here:

Have fun :-)

Just quickly (as I am at work):

Thank you very much for all that.

Just to anwer a few of the issues you mentioned:
- templates projects: it is just copy and paste for now when you want to create a new project based on a template.
- Done Actions tab: check your filters and values. It is working.
- shortcut keys not configurable yet. Will be later. If you want to suggest better ones for now, let us know.
