I'm having trouble running thinkingrock on my PC because the .jar file format has been abducted by my Sony Ericsson installer application - it keeps trying to install the program on my phone (which would be cool) when i try to launch it. I can run the app by double clicking on the thinking-rock.bat file but this leaves another system window open on my system which is very annoying.

I've reinstalled Java and Thinking Rock but this hasn't helped. Anyone got any ideas? Has anyone else encoutered this issue before?

Thanks in advance,

John

You can change the "Opens with" property for .jar files. To do this: right-click the TR jar file
(probably C:\Program Files\ThinkingRock\thinking-rock-win32-1.2.3.jar) and choose Properties. Then click the (Open with) "Change" button and choose the "Java (TM) 2 ..." runtime or platform program.
Your TR shortcut and menu item should then work with just the jar file, e.g. "C:\Program Files\ThinkingRock\thinking-rock-win32-1.2.3.jar"
