I often find myself in a situation where several contexts are present and I'd like to be able to display only the actions related to these contexts in the Actions View.

For exemple :
1. at Work, I need : @Office, @Web, @Contact, but don't want to see what could be done @Home ou @Errands
2. when Comuting : @Transport, @Contact
3. at Home : no need for the @Office context

This could be done by the functionality of a context including other contexts.
For example, in your case : @work would include or contain the contexts @Office, @Web, @Contact.

Then whenever the context @work is selected, it's included contexts also get selected automatically (when you define a context or filter by contexts in the actions review screens).

This functionality is present in the Mylife organized application and is a worthwhile addition to the TR wishlist!

Hello,

I don't think hierarchical contexts would be a solution : in fact, in your scenario, @web would have to be part of @work and part @home...

I rather think of a simpler solution : multiple checkboxes instead of a drop-down list (that works like radio button).

That is precisely the way it works in MLO!

You can define any number of contexts(called "places" in MLO). For each place, you can define "included places".

A list of check boxes for every other defined place is displayed. You then tick which places you want to be included.

So, the same place can be included in more than one "parent" place. It is not strictly a "hierarchical" relationship - more like a network.
