A couple of quick notes on Project/Single Action navigation of the tree:

* an expand all, collapse/all might be handy. The best way to implement it might be to expand-all/collapse-all from the currently selected tree node.

This would let you collapse-all a large project with lots of sub-projects, and ditto expand-all a similar node.

* Checking the DONE checkbox shouldn't re-collapse the tree.... the most common usage for this for me so far is to see what's been done in a project... but when I check DONE, to see done items, the tree collapses, and I have to re-navigate back to the project (or more likely. sub-project) folder.

There is a collapse/expand all in v1.2.2. Select Project node and CTRL+mouse click.

Running OSX, I can't seem to get Expand/Collapse to work in the Project window.

I tried both ctrl+mouse-click and apple+mouse-click.

Am I doing something wrong?

try control-clicking on the top level projects (the text) and not the triangle node itself

Yes, I have now gotten this to work... on OSX (as in other platforms), you ctrl-click the project icon itself at the top of the Projects list.

It would be nice, however, if we could do that on the Project icon of a specific project (that has sub-projects, of course). I think this actually would be a more common use of this feature... it's unlikely I want to expand-out all my projects and sub-projects (although of course it's nice to have this feature).

However, being able to do this on a project folder would be superb... then I can go to just a specific folder (House) and ctrl-click THAT, and see my subprojects (Get New Roof, Maintenance, Refinance Loan, etc.).... all expanded out and any sub-sub-projects, etc. But not see all my other top-level projects also expand out.

Yes we will do this (in the 1.2.2 version).

... I can wait :)

This is an example of a non-critical, "polishing the application" suggestion.... now, as for search..... :)

Ctrl+click on a top level project doesn't expand anything for me in XP.

It only works on the "Projects" node.

I have now made it work on any project and it will be in the 1.2.2 release.

On behalf of all the other TR users who are integrating this into their daily planning and are probably already building 4-level deep project folders -- Thank you Jeremy!
