Is there a way to tell the report generator in TR what the size of the paper is for report output? I just printed out a "DO Asap" report, but the footers of the pages in the report were cut off. I'm printing to Letter paper (8.5x11).

Your print dialog should let you specify that your format is Letter. Let us know if that does not work as we have not tested the letter format.

Hmmm. If you mean the Windows Print Dialog box, it is already set to "Letter". Besides, isn't that setting telling the printer what size paper to use to print the document, but not telling the application what size to format the document to??

I printed it out on my system at work and it came out a shade over 8.5x11, so half of the footer (in this case) got cut off. Although the JasperViewer view looks okay, there's nothing to tell how big it's being formatted for nor anything in the view to try formatting it a different size.

The problem may be the non-printable margin of your printer (many printers cannot print where the grippers handle the page). For many printers this is between 0.25 - 0.5" while many new inkjets offer borderless printing.

I had a similar problem that TR reports are cropped off the top. In my printer driver, I had the option to scale the print, so I scaled to 90%.

In general TR reports go quite close to the edge of the page. Ideally those reports would be formatted so that there were 1/2" margins in all reports for letter and A4. Pocketmods being a likely exception.

Jasper needs to know the paper size before doing its layout. I tried changing the printer settings to A5 but it did not work. I think that reports only fit A4.
