I noticed that the due date is not included in the icalendar file published.

I also noticed that all Do ASAP actions are published with a start date as of the day the calendar file was created. Would't it be better not to include a start date at all as it's unlike all these actions will start that day?

Thanks,
David

Hi,

Personally, I'm happy with the fact that the Do ASAP items have the current date as start date. I use the Lightning calendar plugin to display the iCal file in Mozilla Thunderbird, and all Do ASAP items show up because they're on the current date.

Open Source cross-platform GCalSync in combination with an/the iCalendar file works magic to synchronize your calendar between Google Calendar, Mozilla Thunderbird (Lightning) (and/or ThinkingRock).

Its kind of important in a todo list, to not lose the fact that some of them are urgent, and some are not. Is there an option to enable this somehow?

There is a priority field. You need to first indicate that you want to use it (under Criteria screen) and you can change the values and the order we have put as default.

You will also need to add the column in the Review Action screens (use one of the little buttons on the top left corner of the list).

Please note that when you order by the priority column in the Review Actions, it only orders alphabetically (bug we need to fix).

I was referring to the original problem mentioned by jaguarondi - that the due date of ASAP actions is not included in the ics file. I think this is a significant bug - it certainly makes it impractical for me to combine TR with kontact, then KDE PIM.

That is what I meant by urgency - a due date that is close.

Actually, I've already written the code to export the due date when it exists (its not complicated), but I'm having trouble building the project. Java and netbeans are not my usual cup of tea.

Is it possible that netbeans 6.0 beta 2 cannot build TR?
