I'm using dropbox to synch thinking rock across multiple machines.

I'm having an issue with my configuration.

Currently my default_userdir is set to the following (and it works)
default_userdir="${HOME}/.thinkingrock/tr-2.2.1"

I've tried using the following with tons of variations on / or \
default_userdir="C:\My Dropbox\TR-2.2.1\data/.thinkingrock/tr-2.2.1"

I don't get an error, but thinking rock just does not open up.

Any suggestions?

Oh, yeah, before I forget, my stats
version = TR 2.2.1

###ps, I'm assuming that this is a comment in the conf file###
One machine is running XP, the other is using Vista

[Edit]
In a possibly unrelated item, when I edit the name of an action screen, the name change no longer sticks. I'm assuming it has something to do with the using of config files, but I'm not sure how to trouble shoot this.

Where should I be posting these kinds of questions?

I'm having another configuration issue dealing with printing of any reports.
The footer and sometimes the bottom line always get cut off the bottom when I am printing.
I can not figure out how to configure the Jasper Viewer to fit my page.
Printing to pdf yields the same lack of bottom line.

My question here is, is this just a normal configuration issue, or should these two issues be listed as bugs?

Thanks

If you are not a member, this forum is the right place. For members, there is a dedicated forum.

It will have been better to raise 2 topics as the problems are different.

I have asked jeremy (developer) to look at your first config issue. I will chase him today.

Regarding your report problem: do you use Letter format? In version 3.0.3, the Jasper reports are available in Letter format.

Yes, I use letter format, sadly I am on 2.2.1. Is there some way around this on the 2.2.1 version?

Isn't having 3.0.3 what you get from being a member? If I can get version 3, I would download it right now, but like I said, I thought that was what membership was all about.

Thank you for the help.

Malcolm

TR Members are users who have paid for a license which is only $40 USD. This includes upgrades for one year.
