It is more the programming/design side.
Jeremy is looking at how the synchronisation should work. Any technical/design suggestions are welcome. Examples of questions:
- shall we synchronise only changes?
- what happens if user changes an action on the iPhone and on the desktop - shall we assume not?
Im all for keep it simple on this....detect a change on both since the last sync and have the user nominate one to use as the final version.

To my mind this is ALL I want...or more correctly, i don't want to be forced to have another online account so an option of just syncing over wi-fi is highly desirable to me (I accept opinion might be devided on this one)

If any iPhone developer wants to help, we are happy to deliver it as open source.
I wouldn't call myself an iphone developer yet, but i have spent some time looking into it.
For me, the only things i really want in the first phase of iphone dev are
1. ability to capture new tasks on the iphone and transfer across
2. ability to view a list of tasks by context and tick off ones i've done.
these two things are enough to satisfy my "out and about" requirements.
for instance, i want to be able to record thoughts thoughout the day (preferably with a landscape keyboard for my fat fingers) and to find out what i needed to do at a context (eg. "electronics store") and tick off the items.
Cheers
