As I've said, I LOVE TR and as I get deeper into it I love it even more. I also find that being a tactile, paper-lover, I need to print out a few reports to add to my portable paper version of GTD to keep things on track during the day in the lab.

I know this must sound like I'm looking a gift-horse in the mouth but as great as your print options are, I wish is was easier to print on half sheets (5.5 X 8.5 inch) for ring-binder planner sizing.

You CAN do it through TR but the only way to do it is to use "fit to page" which shrinks things down WAY too small to read. Even with lists that only have a few words on a line are shrunk WAY down to make room for the automatic date that is printed at the top right of each page.

Is there a way I can work around this that doesn't require the gymnastics of doing a TR print to pdf and then copying it to Word and then reformatting it? Even if there isn't, I won't be using that option since I'm trying to keep this simple. If nothing else, that is the most critical Aha! I've had is a system that is useful but oh so very simple, which thankfully, TR allows.

Have you tried the pocketmod reports?

Also there was a Python Script to print actions on Index Cards - extract from the download page:

Thanks to Scott Novis (see forum topic), you can download here the script. The script creates PDF files from Action Lists exported in xml format for printing on 3x5 cards, PocketMods and AveryLabel 5388 laser perforated 3 to a page index cards. Has been run on a Mac and Windows machine.

I am not sure if it works with the new reports.

Thanks, Claire. I'll look into that.

BTW, how are you coming with the TR book? I'll be training new chemists I recently hired in drug analysis and I want to introduce them all to GTD with TR. I remember that one of the main questions I asked them during interview was, "Are you able to multi-task?"

Funny thing is we expect employees to be able to do it but no on ever gives them any training in how to be more productive. So I'll be giving them a copy of the book and TR on their new USB drives.

Thanks for all your efforts.
