SourceForge project created and open source license

Postby Jeremy » Wed Apr 25, 2007 12:10 pm

Progress report ...

- We now have a SourceForge project for ThinkingRock http://sourceforge.net/projects/thinkingrock/
- We have indicated that we will use the Common Development and Distribution License (CDDL) see http://www.sun.com/cddl/cddl.html
- We will probably move our Mantis bug tracking to Tracker on SourceForge gradually.
- The source will be put into a subversion repository after TR 2.0 is finished

Congrats with this big step Jeremy. I hope that going Open Source will have a great positive effect on your project.

2.0.x code?

Postby mjlong » Sun Jun 15, 2008 11:13 pm

I am interested in creating an add-on module to TR for Mac-specific features (e.g., system-wide keystrokes, Mail.app integration, etc.).

I notice that some code is in the SF repository but it appears to be woefully out-of-date. Based on other posts I have read, the TR team indicated that the latest code would be uploaded once 2.0 has been released.

When will the latest code be available?

The SVN code is woefully out of date, but there is a zip file (tr-2.0.1.source.zip) in the file downloads.

Oh and please discuss any modules you want to add. We (and I bet other forum members) are more than happy to help with requirements, design and offer any other advice we can.

I apologize. I don't know how I could have missed the source ZIP.

Thanks

Don't feel bad, I missed it too, was about to post the exact same question before I saw this post.

Jeremy, have you considered putting the code into SourceForge code?
