In v1.2.3, I really liked having the project tree viewable from within the Action Review pane. It seems like this is gone in v2.0gamma. Is this the case? or am I missing something here.

After digging deeper into TR 2.0 and especially during making those action review tutorials I do not wish those tree views to come back into the action review screens.

I really appreciate the current solution which helps focusing. When it is time to DO (aka work my action lists) it is not the time of planning. Take your time at the daily review and at the weekly review to review your projects and plan your work. When you switch into the Do mode you just pick an next action from the context you selected and do it. Seeing a project tree now provides distracting information which prevents focusing your mind on the doing.

I hope the return of the tree view will be made optionable.

They are there if you double-click or Enter key on a table row.

In the next version they will show whenever a table row is selected.

So the "pure" lists will be unaffected?

I can see how having the tree might be less GTD. Like you said, having it optional would be great.

I'm a newb but so far I'm loving ThinkingRock. It really rocks!

The tree will be put back in 2.0 delta. If don't want to see the tree when you review your actions, you can move the vertical bar between the tree and the action panel completely to the left (dividing your screen into 2 only). TR remembers the positions of the split bars between application restart.
