I have noticed 2 really annoying things in my install on windows xp pro:
1. I cannot paste text from the clipboard into the notes section of anything
2. I cannot link to external documents. ( think this has been reported before, the links come in but only part of them is hyperlinked and the link won't take you anywhere.)
I would really want to see the linking feature moved high up on the list of things to do, as I really want to use it , and being able to at least paste the information is vital.

I have not yet used links, but I would second that idea.

What do you use to paste: CTRL+V? Is your text particularly big?

The link problem is fixed, the delta version will be released very soon, within a week.

I typically use CTRL+V, though I got irritated and tried drag and drop, and right click and paste from the context menu, and no, the largest thing I have tried to paste is an address or a phone number to help me make a call or send a letter.

I am really salivating over the next release, but I am NOT going to complain or nag.

Could it be the same problem as http://www.thinkingrock.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?t=957

Could you try to paste just plain text?

Thanks.

Claire meant the font size of the pasted text, not the length of it, I believe. As in perhaps it is formatted text, so definitely try pasting plain text if that might be the problem.

I tried it and it worked fine out of notepad, but I don't ordinarily write in notepad. Still, its good to know that I can find a work around.
