Learning curve

Postby Scott Morton » Sat Sep 26, 2009 2:45 pm

New to this forum and new to TR. I hope this is an acceptable question. What is the learning curve with TR and what is the best way to learn how to use the program?

Thanks

I let other users reply about the learning curve as I have learned the various functionality as we developed them.

I have written many articles on how to set-up TR, explaining a few of the concepts and there are demos too. I will recommend that you start reading these.

Thank you. It is a very intriguing product. I assume if I start with a sample database I can change it.

You can always start with a new empty file afterward or start with some topics and contexts sample (download SetupData file from http://www.trgtd.com.au/index.php?option=com_docman&Itemid=83)

I thought about that and did the same. That is a nice feature. I will do more research on it, but does anyone know if you can use it on an Ipod Touch?

Thanks

No, you can't. We will release an application for iPhone within a few weeks to the AppleStore.

Hi Claire,
I really need an iPhone version of TR.

:-)

What do you think how long we have to wait? Regards, Detlef

The app has been under beta testing with a few users. We will submit it to the Apple Store shortly.

An iPhone has been released TODAY!! 29 Dec 09. Just go to the Apple Store and search for ThinkingRock of course.

The functionality is limited for this first version: you can review you Do ASAP actions by context and enter new thoughts. More views (Today, This Week, etc..) will be implemented in the next version.
