Great Job! - release candidate for 2.0

Postby logamurugan » Tue May 27, 2008 6:03 am

It is a great overhaul. I have been using TR for the last year or so and am seeing a great deal of improvement in the usability!

- Wonderful Splash Screen
- Loads faster
- F3 and F4 work from anywhere (previously, you should position the cursor on the project and only then press F3/F4 but now it works like a dream)
- Maximising a particular tab / action by double-clicking on it in Review Screen (apart from the Maximise button). Double-clicking again to restore.
- Complete redo of recurrence
- Spacebar on the date field pops up the calendar.
- Including the "NULL" columns by default in the Review Action Tab filters
- Shrinking the multiple line text fields while you drag down the divider bar in Review actions screen rather than just reducing the display content.
- Previously moving up/down activities within a project will not work at times. Now it is much easier and consistent (click anywhere on the activity and drag it up/down).
- Improved sorting (primary and secondary)

Some of these might have been in the earlier versions but I stumbled upon only now. Overall, it is great!

I am eagerly awaiting the final release!

Warm regards

Thank you for the appreciation. It will keep us motivated for the last rush this week.

By the way, if you are happy with the new functionality, think about voting for TR on Lifehacker (see http://thinkingrock.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1938). The vote is still on. I don't know when it finishes and we are trying to get final 2.0 out prior to the end of the poll.
