Why are we not allowed to edit our own posts in the Gamma Feedback forum?

My typing is pretty crappy and not being able to edit what I've posted save me embarassment and everyone else the pain of having to put up with it.

I know J & C are pretty slack at the moment, so I'm sure they'll be able to find time to answer this :lol:
